            Important: LineRuler does not display advertisements, does not voluntarily collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information, and relies solely on minimal, non-identifying data handled by third-party SDKs as described below.
        

1. Introduction

Welcome to LineRuler. This Privacy Policy explains how we treat information when you install or use the LineRuler mobile application. By accessing or using the app you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

LineRuler is engineered so that no user data is saved on our servers. We do not request, access, or retain:

Names, addresses, or phone numbers
Email addresses or social-media identifiers
Device identifiers such as IMEI or MAC address
Precise or coarse location data
Photos, camera, or microphone input
Calendar, contacts, or call-log information
Payment or financial details

3. Third-Party SDKs & Their Data Practices

LineRuler integrates the following third-party software development kits solely for stability monitoring and basic analytics. Each SDK may automatically collect certain technical information on your device. We do not receive or store that information.

3.1 Google SDKs

Firebase Crashlytics: Captures stack traces and diagnostic data when the app crashes. Data remains subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Firebase Analytics: May collect anonymized event counts such as session length, screen views, and device type (no advertising ID). Google provides aggregated reports only.

3.2 Facebook SDK

Facebook Core SDK: Used only for deferred deep-link verification. The SDK may cache app interaction metadata locally; no personal identifiers are forwarded to us.

4. Permissions Requested by the App

LineRuler requests only the minimum permissions essential for core functionality:

Camera: Required to place virtual rulers over objects you choose to measure. Images are processed on-device and are never transmitted.
Vibration: Used to provide haptic feedback when a measurement is set.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not operate backend servers that store user information, there is no data retained by LineRuler’s own infrastructure. Any temporary files created for measurement purposes reside in the app’s private sandbox and are removed automatically when the app is uninstalled.

6. International Transfers

We do not transfer personal data outside your device. Third-party SDK vendors may process diagnostic or analytical information in various jurisdictions according to their own terms.

7. Children’s Privacy

LineRuler is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at the address below and we will work with the appropriate SDK providers to delete such information.

8. Security

We follow industry-standard secure-coding practices to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information. All measurements and images are processed locally and are never placed on an external server under our control.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Revisions will be posted within the app and on our website. Continued use of LineRuler after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
